Our Technical Oriented Fabrics (TOF) Public Safety Business (PSB) Team is seeking an experienced sales professional to develop existing and new business opportunities for TOF Garments, with direct sales accountability in the Iberia Market (Spain, Portugal) and a focus in the Fire, Technical Rescue and Police Business segments to drive growth.

 

You will have the responsibility to set and reach sales goals, margin targets and for realizing opportunities with Key Accounts and Public Administration customers. By leveraging Gore's unique combination of exceptional products and in-depth fitness-for-use knowledge you will create exceptional value and customer satisfaction. In strong collaboration with the Business Unit team you will proactively own, drive, review and update the territory sales strategy to identify and create revenue growth opportunities through long-term, sustainable customer and account partnerships. As you understand unmet customer and market needs you will identify and develop new opportunities for our products. You will manage and develop defined Key Accounts in the territory. Driving tender processes with public administration organizations and negotiating terms and conditions form an important part of your commitment. As a strong communicator a close collaboration with global Application Engineers, other Field Sales Associates, Inside Sales, Strategic Marketing and Finance associates in the TOF PSB business teams is particularly important to you.


Your Profile:

  • BSc or BB, BE undergraduate degree required with 5+ years’ experience selling technical products in a multi-national company.
  • Proven track record in growing sales individually and through team effort, with experience in developing new customers and opportunities.
  • Sound experience in (Key) Account Management.
  • Proven track record in public administration sales processes, including tenders.
  • Strategic thinking and proven ability to develop a sales strategy.
  • Expertise in utilization of sales tools (including CRM) to effectively manage a sales territory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills in Spanish and English.
  • Willingness to travel (~ 50%), within Iberia and other countries in Europe.
