Funciones

Be responsible for preparing and auditing all the financial data provided from the business acitivites in Italy.


Description

* Planning Statutory FS - understand and ensure local and group deadline.
 * If statutory compliance outsourced, manage 3^rd party compliance provider (VAT, Corporate Tax, Statutory FS, and Company Secretarial etc.) in order to be compliant with local requirements and also manage effective relationship to optimize professional fee spent.
 * If statutory compliance done in-house - prepare all locally required filings.
 * Coordinate and support Group or Statutory Audit.
 * IFRS to local GAAP adjustments - have them properly documented preferably in accounting system as special layer or set of accounts.
 * Support accurate and on time monthly group reporting.
 * Understand Business Operating Model (BOM), ensure that it is consistently applied.
 * Perform P/L and BS review and initiate corrective actions.
 * Coordinate New Entity incorporations.
 * Maintain Country entity structure.
 * Maintain Bank accounts with cooperation with Group Treasury - cash management and funding if needed.
 * Work closely with SSC (Manila) to ensure efficient and effective way of data provision from SSC to you or 3^rd party compliance provider and vice versa.
 * Work closely with SSC, Regional CFO and Group Functions.
 * Work closely with country team support functions.
 * Point of contact of in country authorities (tax, social security, chamber of commerce…).
 * Support tax & social security audits in country.
 * Support acquisition process (integration).
 * Follow instruction of the superior.


Profile

* 6-8 + years professional General Ledger or Controlling experience.
 * Organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks, manage issues and produce results in a timely fashion.
 * A good knowledge of accounting & tax subjects for countries in scope (local GAAP vs IFRS).
 * An inquisitive mindset and desire to get involved in the detail.
 * MS Excel proficient user.
 * Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.
 * Flexible and adaptable to an international environment.
 * Able to work independently.
 * Routine persistent.
 * Native Italian and fluent English language
 * Language of country you are in charge is beneficial/must (depending if compliance is outsourced or in-house).
 * University degree beneficial.
 * ACCA degree or in progress beneficial.
