Multinational company of Technology sector is looking for a Financial Manager based in Madrid. The ideal candidate will have 5 minimum years of experience, with an initial experience as auditor or finance advisor in a big four firm and then experience in multinational companies in the role of Finance Manager, coordinating a Finance Department of around 10 people. Very high english level is a must.

Reports to and work under the supervision of the Regional Finance Director and Managing Director,and leading the Local FinanceTeam (10people), the ideal candidate will be responsible for the following functions:

* Manage accounting & reporting for the Spanish subsidiaries, including US GAAP and Local Statutory accounting and all US and Local regulatory requirementsthe.

* Monthly US GAAP closing, validating the correctness of the P&L.
* Profitability analysis, by channel/products.
* Actively support the preparation of forecasts and budgets.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports (P&L and B/S), analyze variances between actual and forecasted data, including KPIs.
* Accurate, complete and detailed accounts reconciliations.
* Preparation of annual Statutory Financial Statements according to local GAAP (and reconciliation vs US GAAP), in coordination with internal and external auditors.
* Ensuring local accounting compliance (such as filing of SFFs and Annual accounts).
* Ensuring internal and external deadlines are met.
* In coordination with Corporate Tax Department and external Tax advisors, ensuring timely and accurate CIT/VAT/IGIC/IRPF calculation, declaration and payment, including SII (Electronic VAT Reporting System).
* Ensuring proper internal controls, in compliance with Corporate expectations.
* Prepare reports for local/regional management, support presentation preparation for division owners.
* In compliance with Group policies and procedures, ensure proper cash flow management, monitoring cash collection and payment, providing daily, weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
* Credit risk management: coordination of the Credit Risk team, insurance companies and brokers, banks and lawyers, to ensure mitigation of risks and proper bad debt allowance.
* Contracts overview: in coordination with Sales, Legal and Tax Department/advisors, review of finance and tax aspects of customers and suppliers contracts.
* Actively control over expenses, including business related and SG&A.
* Work closely with IT on system implementations, ensuring compliance of accounting/tax/business requirements and efficiency.

Perfil del candidato

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Finance, or Economics.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience, with an initial experience as auditor or finance advisor in a big firm and then experience in multinational companies in the role of Finance Manager.
* Very high english level is a must.
