Funciones

Medium size multinational company from Real Estate sector is looking for a Finance Manager based in Madrid. At least 2-3 years working as Finance Manager/ Finance Director in a Real Estate/ Property multinational company. Previous experience working as an Auditor in a Big 4 is a must. Very High English level is a must. High French level will be a plus.


Description

Reporting to the Group's Finance Director, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following responsibilities:

 

General

 * Ensure effective performance of outsourced financial support functions and managing agent functions and participate in management meetings.
 * Propose processes and internal controls to improve workflows.
 * Provide technical advice and answers to any accounting / reporting / admin / finance questions from investors or rest of the team.
 * Promote an efficient work environment. 

 

Accounting & Control

 * Control the quality, efficiency and timeliness of in-house and outsourced accounting activities.
 * Maintain accurate accounting records for local GAAP and IFRS reporting purposes.
 * Oversee quarterly and annual financial closings for all corporate entities in Spain.
 * Responsible for all statutory accounts across Spain.
 * Ensure capital expenditures and other projects costs are properly recorded and reported in accordance with internal requirements. 

 

Reporting

 * Responsible for the preparation of the quarterly management accounts of all Spanish entities.
 * Responsible for timely execution of the budgeting and forecasting processes.
 * Ensure Investor reporting requirements are met in the most efficient, accurate and timely manner.
 * Ensure all Group reporting requirements in relation to corporate entities in Spain are met in the most efficient, accurate and timely manner. 

 

Audit

 * Coordinate the audit of relevant corporate entities in Spain with the auditors, in accordance with Europe Audit Committee requirements.
 * Preparation of the relevant annual audited consolidated statements in accordance with IFRS.

 

 

Tax and Legal, Compliance

 * Ensure that all legal documentation is properly maintained and archived.
 * Organise the provision of tax compliance, notably for a timely review of tax returns.
 * Liaise with auditors, tax advisors and corporate lawyers to ensure statutory requirements are met within set deadlines.
 * Provide assistance with the drafting of legal and corporate documentation.
 * Secure the timely organisation of board meetings where needed.
 * Ensure that adequate processes are implemented to respect internal policies and procedures and regulatory constraints. 

 

Treasury & Payments

 * Organise the execution and secure the compliance of the disbursement function in the most efficient way for the business.
 * Coordinate and administrate the cash disbursement tools in Spain.
 * Administer or supervise administration of all internet banking accesses.
 * Secure a timely reporting of treasury positions and cash flow forecast in accordance with Group requirements.
 * Recommend and execute distributions/contribution to/from Investors in order to maximize financial performance of the vehicles whilst mitigating any solvency issue.

 

Other

 * Support CFO or Director Transaction Support on other ad hoc projects in relation to Finance Partner role for Madrid and Paris businesses (e.g. Preparation of Strategic Plan, Performance analysis, etc...).

 * Support regarding other ad hoc Group requirements (e.g. Internal Audit).

 * Support the rest of the finance team for Project Monitoring and risk management.


Profile

* Bachelor in Business Administration, Economics or similar.
 * MBA or Master in Finance, will be a plus.
 * At least 7-10 years of relevant experience, with at least 2-3 of these years working as a Finance Director / Finance Manager in a medium size multinational company.
