The team of the prestigious architect, Rafael Moneo -1996 Pritzker Prize and 2012 Prince of Asturias award-, was commissioned to rescue the architectural heritage, paying genuine respect to history and incorporating it into the contemporary design of the hotel. The Mercer Barcelona is an unpretentious yet elegant hotel that offers an exceptional and intuitive service.

After the impressive hall of the hotel, there is the orange tree "patio", a glazed courtyard whereby natural light filters and beside which are located the gastronomic restaurant, the gastrobar Le Bouchon and Mercer Cocktail Bar.

The 28 rooms and suites are distributed over 3 floors. And on the building rooftop, guests can enjoy the Mediterranean climate in the pleasant hotel terrace and a pool, with a Pool Bar, as well as beautiful views of Barcelona Gothic Quarter historical roofs.

Requisitos

At Mercer Hotel Barcelona, we are looking for students to join our team. there 2 positions to be fulfilled, kitchen or floor.

General requirements:

- Fluent english
- Interships of minimum of 2 months.
- Undertaking a course related in hospitality / hotel management.
- Follow all SOP related to services & kitchen.
- Familiar with POS systems.
- Guest attention orientated.
- Valid EU Visa holder.
