The Front Office trainee will be able to fully experience the front services of the Nobu Hotel Barcelona with a hands-on approach. After completing this program, the trainee will have learned how a real front services operation is managed with first-hand experience and will be fully immersed in the Nobu culture. Essential Functions: · Learn all aspects of the Nobu hotel Barcelona and all pertaining points of interest of the destination. · Learn hotel room categories and basic information on outlets menus. · Learn and perform all technical aspects of front services: how to check in/ check out guests, do rooms move, upsell rooms, allocate rooms, balance inventory, deliver luggage and packages, handling dining transfer reservations, etc. · Learn and execute shift opening and closing procedures. · Collect guest preferences and prepare for all VIP arrivals. · Learn how to handle and efficiently resolve guest incidents and internal breakdowns.
· Education: Currently studying hospitality management. · Experience: Prior working experience in a hotel or restaurant is valuable. · Technical skills: Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word. Micros a plus but not a must. · Communication: Must be fluent in English and Spanish. · Skills: Flexibility. Active listening. Emotional intelligence. Customer service. Assertive communication. Commitment. Responsibility. Ability to work under pressure. Good non-verbal communication skills.
