SSC located in the west of Madrid is looking for a General Ledger with English


Description

The chosen candidate will be responsible of the following tasks:

 * Provide support for any general accounting task
 * Month-end, Quarter-end and Year-end close process
 * Month end reporting 
 * Intercompany reconciliation
 * Review trial balance and reconcile & analyze all general ledger accounts
 * USGAAP reporting
 * Being able to cover for the GL Manager when required
 * Participation in initiatives/projects relating the implementation of ways to minimize manual processes
 * Assist in ad-hoc accounting related projects as required (ex. Migrations, new tools implementation…).
 * Assist in auditor's reviews' (internal & external) and SOX reviews
 * Perform GL daily activities
 * Support on the daily operations of the General Ledger area: Reporting, Reconciliations, analysis, Blackline tasks
 * Month end closing tasks: Reporting, Consolidation, Intercompany, Accruals, Prepaid
 * Other tasks


Profile

The chosen candidate should have the following requirements:

 * Studies related to Finance or Accounting
 * +2 years of experience in a similar role
 * SSC experience is a plus
 * Knowledge of ERP solutions
 * Strong PC skills
 * High level of English is a must
 * Another EU language is a plus
