Funciones

Oversee general ledger accounting functions, including month-end and year-end close activities, as well as accounts payable transactions.
Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Work with internal departments to collect, analyze, and interpret financial data.
Partner with cross-functional teams across the UKI and Continental Europe regions to gather financial information and support audit requirements.
Conduct audits (Group Audit and Statutory Audit) to verify the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Ensure compliance with professional and regulatory accounting standards in financial reporting.
Align general ledger practices with budgeting and forecasting objectives.
Input financial transactions such as accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger on a monthly basis and prepare corresponding reports.
Perform account analysis to validate journal entries and account balances.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and address any discrepancies promptly.
Collect supporting documentation and maintain accurate financial records.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and accounting best practices.
Assist in designing and implementing accounting policies and procedures.

Requisitos

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, or equivalent working experience.
At least 3 - 4 years experience in general ledger accounting, or similar.
Proficient in accounting software (Microsoft D365 preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and regulations. With US GAAP significant experience.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Certified Public Accountant or audit experience is a plus.
Fluent level of English (proficient).
