General Ledger Accountant

PageGroup - Shared Service Centre


Description

o Balance Sheet analysis and reconciliation

o Driving month-end and year-end closing

o Preparation of end of month accruals

o Review the tasks (intercompany reconciliations, fixed assets

reconciliations) of more junior colleagues

o Control of cash flows

o Control of debtor over payments

o Control and reconciliation of salary and social charges bookings

o Preparation of VAT declaration and corporate tax calculation

o Preparation of documents for audit

o Support the implementation of new accounting processes and tools

o Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted

policies and procedures


Profile

* Accounting degree, Business Administration or similiar
 * Minimum of 3 or 4 years in GL experience
 * Strong accounting skills and accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, etc. (will be assets)
 * Excellent Excel skills
 * High level of English and knowledge of other European language is welcome
 * Team player, offering support to others
 * Takes responsibility for personal improvement, learning from experience and new situations
