Funciones

The Global Controls Assurance Analyst supports the Global Controls Assurance Manager in providing oversight and assurance on Transactional Finance risk management activities and internal control environment, ensuring that our internal control environment is monitored and strengthened, in line with the latest regulation, Group initiatives and External Audit recommendations.


Description

Key Responsibilities:

 * Support the Global Controls Assurance Manager in maintaining the transactional finance risk management process
 * Work closely with the relevant stakeholders in helping to define and propose process & system mitigating controls
 * Ensure controls assurance in maintaining the Global Risk and Control Matrix for all finance streams, liaising with the relevant Experts for validation and completion
 * Perform controls testing on a periodic basis, including walkthrough and/or substantive testing across both process or system controls
 * Perform a periodic review of the SoD violations & Agent Controls, proposing mitigating controls to reduce the risk posed and strengthen the control
 * Review the Change Impact of the monthly GFS HUB release cycle, working closely with the GFS Release Manager, to identify the proposed impact on our internal controls structure
 * Support finance teams with training and guidance on risk and controls assurance
 * Develop & maintain our Internal Control tools, templates, models & documentation


Profile

* University Degree in an economic field (Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent)
 * At least 2 years of experience within Transactional Finance and/or IT roles
 * Experience in the Consultancy sector in a Customer facing role is a plus, with involvement in Change Management projects
 * Excellent understanding and hands on experience in finance processes, as well as a good knowledge of IT programs
 * Strong technical skills, inquisitive, and willing to challenge the status quo
 * Ability to create process mapping and documentation skills: MS Word, MS Excel and Visio (or similar tool)
 * High level of autonomy and sense of ownership
 * Positive attitude and feels comfortable in a changing environment

Proficiency level in English: The right candidate should have the capability to communicate verbally and in writing in English, as well as to maintain process documentation in English
