To lead Business Technology's global infrastructure IT systems and services for the Infrastructure Hub as used by the front and back office operational teams across all regions and at Group level.


* Lead a talented global Infrastructure Operations team, who with others, manage and support the infrastructure globally.


 * Manage, with the Global Infrastructure Director and HR, the global operating model for Infrastructure Operations based on the service and systems performance, strategy, and architecture.
 * Participate in the global Infrastructure governance and chair the global Infrastructure Operations governance aligning it to the Group Business Transformation governance model.
 * Establish and maintain strong working relationships with other members of the Global Infrastructure team to ensure effective and holistic management and support of IT services, systems and solutions to the business.
 * Contribute to the development of the Business Transformation strategy and architecture.
 * Implement and comply with global Business Transformation policies and procedures.
 * Work with Business Partnering to understand global customer expectations and requirements and address those within infrastructure operations (level 2 support) that align to the Business and Business Transformation strategy.
 * Accountable for the execution of global infrastructure support and associated service performance to Applications and the business -Level 2 - for the Infrastructure team.
 * Contribute to the shape of Infrastructure projects and programmes.
 * Manage infrastructure's operational performance, compliance with standards, management of risks and reporting globally.
 * Develop the global budget for infrastructure operations and manage costs to that budget.
 * Manage day to day supplier relationships - regional and global and of varying size.
 * Encourage a continuous improvement culture through the infrastructure operations organisation and promote innovative ideas to the Infrastructure governance meetings.
 * Sponsor knowledge capture and management within infrastructure and the dissemination of this to the rest of Business Transformation or the wider business through training and communications.


* Minimum of 10 years' experience in an IT service management environment and minimum of 5 years in management.


 * Extensive and direct knowledge of all aspects and components of IT infrastructure and service delivery. 

 * Experience with Citrix/Microsoft/Cisco/VMware technologies. 

 * Strong hands-on/technical knowledge of core Microsoft technologies including but not limited to Windows Servers, Active Directory, MS SQL, Azure, Office365, Exchange Online.

 * Experience with core Network/Cisco technologies like LAN/WAN, subnets, firewalls, Wi-Fi, VLAN's, and VPN using Cisco switches and routers. 

 * Must have a good understanding of user desktop management utilising SCCM for desktops/laptops imaging, profile management, software delivery, etc. 

 * Familiarity with other IT Infrastructure technologies such as storage area networks (SAN), WAN acceleration devices and, virtualization. 

 * Demonstrated critical thinking and planning at a strategic, global level. 

 * Strong financial management skills in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.Significant experience of leading teams of 20 people with some teams being virtual.
