Funciones

We are looking for a talented Head of Software Department, highly passionate about both technology and management, driven to results and with proven experience in R&D departments and team coordination.


Description

Will be responsible of resources allocation, reviewing and coordinating all technical development within the department, including web and mobile development, implementation of AI solutions and technical work plan definition.

We are looking for a person familiarized with cutting-edge technologies in order to meet specifications and designs by using best practices.


Profile

The ideal candidate must have:

 

 * Engineering degree in computer science or telecoms
 * At least 4 years of experience in Software development in Web Development, especially working with Java and Spring
 * At least 2 years of experience working with Amazon Web Services and/or Azure cloud 
 * At least 2 years of experience leading a Software Development team, with 5 employees at least
 * Experience with Continuous Integration
 * Experience with customers relationship
 * Experience with multi-project portfolio within the team. Multitasking is a must
 * Deep knowledge of Software QA procedures and techniques
 * Experience writing technical documentation and technical projects
 * Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities; creative thinking, personal initiative and strong communication skills
 * Advanced level of English, both spoken and written
 * Business skills
 * Used to be in direct contact with highly demanding clients.

 

 Desirable:

 * Used to Agile methodologies (Scrum, JIRA)
 * Python and JavaScript
 * Knowledge on native mobile development (iOS and Android). Familiar with hybrid Applications
 * Experience on Devops concepts
 * Familiar with Machine Learning in general and Computer Vision in particular 
 * Familiar with Bayesian data analysis and Big Data concepts
 * Expert in Git
