Job Description

What you’ll do

We are looking for a Host/Hostess to join the pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. Under the Guidance of the Outlet Manager you’ll be responsible for creating a perfect first impression on all guests entering the restaurant/bar, while strategizing the flow of clients, securing large parties and events and ensuring guest have a flawless experience:

Greet all guests warmly and by name, escort guests to their table, provide chair assistance for all guests, and menu presentation.
Host large parties when scheduled.
Ensure ambiance is appropriate, including music, temperature, lighting.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Approach guest and collect information needed to assist with seat and bar arrangements.
Constantly provide guests with accurate information about property as well as entertainment offered.
Confirm reservations and answer daily email inquiries in timely manner.

Requisitos

Degree with emphasis in Hospitality/Restaurant management.
+2 years of experience in hospitality within hotels/bars with high volume of food & beverage in a similar administrative role.
Knowledge of hotel food & beverage operations.
Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in Spanish and English.
