Funciones

This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive international software house (circa 120 employees worldwide) with a superb scope for rapid career progression where the right candidate can gain HR experience in a fast-paced work environment by supporting and improving all HR functions.  

The job role involves performing a variety of personnel-related administrative tasks, supporting the HR Manager in duties like posting job ads, updating the HR database and processing employee requests.  

We are looking for a details-oriented individual with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and wants to grow within the company and take on more responsibility. This person needs to be able to demonstrate initiative and must be willing to take on any challenge and work hard. 

The role is office based, working from our office in Madrid, Spain.   

Duties/Responsibilities  

Assisting with general employee processes such as hiring, recruiting, vetting candidates and assisting with interviews and liaising with the relevant departmental managers.  

Assisting with onboarding new staff. 

Compiling, maintaining, and updating the in-house HR software database with employee records, holiday and sickness leave for the payroll team. 

Supporting HR related training programs and workshops with the in-house HR software. 

Occasionally helping with the preparation of paperwork for HR policies and procedures. 

Maintaining employee records (both soft and hard copies).  

You will be required to work in partnership with the HR Manager and other departments to improve communication and resolve employee issues in the workplace.  

Keeping employee files strictly confidential. 

Continuously learning the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency.

Requisitos

Basic knowledge of a Human Resource department and its workings (desirable but not essential)  
Strong communication, organisation and analytical skills and the ability to work with people at all levels within the organisation. 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with any other European languages would be advantageous but not essential. 
The ability to handle challenges and over-coming them using conflict management skills. 
Time management and the ability to meet deadlines. 
Proficiency in IT, including MS Office. 
Attention to detail, and a good capacity to follow directions. 
Excellence in both teamwork and individual tasks. 
Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities.
