Funciones

The instrumentation & control engineer will be involved in projects to develop instrumentation & control systems and software for the ITER project.

This is an excellent opportunity to join the international scientific project ITER (International Thermonuclear Experiental Reactor).

The instrumentation & control engineer will work in the development technological center located in Barcelona. He/She will join a team of 25 engineers.

The instrumentation & control engineer will participate in the full development cycle.
Main functions for this position:
-Initial concepts definition.
-Technical requirements definition. Under nuclear and specific safety and regulatory and codes requirements.
-Instrumentation & control project elaboration (PLCs and SCADAs)
-Validation of the systems and software.
-Start up of the projects.

The instrumentation & control engineer needs skills in: instrumentation & control projects for the nuclear sector or for industrial sector with high level security (railway,...); managing the full development cycle; PLCs and SCADAs program elaboration; and documentation elaboration.

Travel is necessary for this position. International travels. Global and multicultural customers and suppliers. So, an independent level of English language knowledge is necessary.

Requisitos

-Estudios universitarios de Ingeniería relacionados con la Electrónica / Automatización / Informática.
-Experiencia profesional de 4 años en proyectos de instrumentación y control. Sector nuclear ó sectores industriales exigentes.
-Conocimientos y experiencia en programación de PLCs con las soluciones SIEMENS (S7 300, 400 y 1200).
-Conocimientos y experiencia en sistemas de supervisión SCADA.
-Experiencia en generación de documentación técnica (requerimientos técnicos, informes de validación,...)
-Nivel de usuario avanzado en idioma inglés.
-Disponibilidad para viajar.
