Funciones

To assist the business in developing, implementing and maintaining appropriate compliance frameworks, testing and validating compliance capability and competency and providing feedback to management


Descripción de la oferta

Advising and supporting

 

 * To advise and guide the business on compliance issues and regulatory developments that may impact the Comapny, including financial promotions, scripts, complaints, claims and training

 * Work with the business to develop local policies and procedures that implement and/or adapt Group Policies and Standards

 * Work with the business to embed the Compliance Framework across the operation and where appropriate, relevant third party operations

 * To design and facilitate the delivery of appropriate compliance training for all relevant staff including outsourced providers

Monitoring

 * Supporting the Group compliance monitoring function with the delivery of any local monitoring work required under the Board approved annual monitoring plans, to include internal and outsourced functions

 * Ensure compliance monitoring reports are prepared to the highest standards of clarity, substance and presentation 

 * To work with the business to track, manage and report on actions arising from compliance monitoring reviews or other compliance actions that may arise from time to time to ensure these are closed in a timely manner and in accordance with agreed timescales

Risk Management

 * Work with Group Risk Management and local risk and control owners to ensure that local risk and controls are accurate, up to date and reported to Group Risk Management on a timely basis

Data Privacy

 * Maintain general awareness of data privacy and data protection rules and support work of the privacy team as directed by line manager

Other

 * To assist in any regulatory visits or information requests from regulators (and/or other third parties) including collation of documents etc. Responsible for ensuring that regulatory reporting obligations are discharged to deadline and to a high standard of quality


Perfil del candidato

At least 5 years, previous compliance experience in a general insurer within Iberia

 

Understanding of legislation and regulations impacting on insurance industry in Spain and Portugal, especially extended warranty.

Fluent in Spanish and English
