We are looking for someone senior with strong events experience to help coordinate and manage Google WebSummit presence. The WebSummit will take place in Lisbon between November 5-8, 2018. This person will be based in Madrid and travel occasionally to Lisbon. Description * Define event main business objectives in alignment with senior business stakeholders and speakers * Define and coordinate -in collaboration with PR and Brand & Reputation teams- the main messages, speakers, narrative, keynotes and event presence * Manage and coordinate Googlers presence in the event: briefings, logistics * Coordinate with Google events team our physical presence in the event (booth and party) to deliver the best experience and content during the WebSummit * Work cross-functionally with Google comms and WebSummit team to amplify Google presence and ensure maximum impact of Google activities: Social media, promotion pre and during the WebSummit * Develop and manage Google booth activities: external speakers, mentoring sessions, training * Manage on and off stage agenda of senior speakers during their presence in the Websummit (i.e. meetings with KOFs, press, clients) * Budget management * In-situ execution supervision Profile * Experience in managing high impact events * Project management and negotiation skills * Senior stakeholder management * Experience in managing agency/third parties relationships Job Offer We offer a 3 months project with a great team

About WebSummit: WebSummit is one of the largest tech/startup conferences in the world. Despite being originally conceived as a startup event, today the WebSummit is the biggest tech conference in Europe with (1) over 60k attendees -from start-ups to established companies-, (2) a large and growing number of KOFs (policy-makers and influencers) who are relevant to our Velocity efforts and (3) over 2,500 journalists, generating close to 20K pieces of online, print and broadcast coverage internationally. The WebSummit provides a great opportunity to demonstrate Google's support for innovation and for the European tech ecosystem and to engage with relevant European KOFs. For our presence, we need to smartly choose our themes, physical spaces and speakers to connect to the distinct audiences.
