To manage the HR function within the Madrid office to support and add value to the businesses in pursuit of their objectives and overall Group strategy.

* Aligns HR strategy with line of business strategy - identify and build the skills and capabilities that are needed for changing business strategies and work with senior business leadership team in Iberia to shape their business strategy

 * Change management - facilitates change and seizes opportunities to introduce improvements to current practices and procedures (including defining and implementing corporate and business values)

 * Resourcing strategy - partners with business leaders to identify future leaders and skill gaps.

 * Delivers creative solutions to mobilise expertise within the company.

 * Career development - ensures training and development activities within the line produce the skills and knowledge required to meet the future needs of the business.

Employee relations & Legislative/regulatory impact

 * Work Council: Manager relations with Work Council, coordinate comms and meetings.

 * Be a subject matter expert for Directors, managers and employees on all aspects of HR issues, including relevant employment legislation, HR practice and the company's own HR policies. This covers a wide range of matters and is most frequently regarding employment contracts and staff appointments and departures
 * Ensure that any negative disciplinary situations are handled sensitively, properly and in line with the established policies and procedures through a proactive, participatory or advisory role
