Funciones

Manpower is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and innovative European automotive supplier specializing in high-tech polyurethane foam and EPP components for seating and interior applications. The company supplies almost all major automotive brands and operates multiple sites across Europe, offering a stable international environment with a strong focus on innovation, quality, and sustainability. To strengthen the European Corporate Purchasing organization, we are looking for an experienced purchasing professional with Europe-wide responsibility for direct and indirect purchasing categories. The position can be based at one of the client’s European locations in SAN, MLD, or BB.

Key Responsibilities:
· Development and implementation of purchasing strategies within the assigned responsibility areas.
· Preparation and execution of price and contract negotiations, including individual and framework agreements.
· Scouting, selection, and qualification of new suppliers in close collaboration with Operational Purchasing.
· Identification, negotiation, and realization of cost-saving opportunities.
· Monitoring of supplier and market developments with focus on risk management (e.g. bottlenecks, financial stability).
· Support of new business acquisitions and customer projects.

Requisitos

Key Requirements:
· Completed degree in engineering, business administration, or a comparable field.
· Several years of professional experience in direct and/or indirect purchasing within an international environment, ideally in the automotive industry.
· Strong expertise in cost analysis and market analysis.
· Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
· Hands-on mentality, high level of commitment, and ability to work under pressure.
· Intercultural competence and willingness to travel occasionally.
· Business-fluent English; German, Polish, or Czech language skills are an advantage.
· Proficient in SAP and MS Office.
