IT integration engineer is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining and supporting IT integration solutions built on Tibco stack. Works with solutions owners, solutions analysts, business owners and customers to translate requirements into solutions to meet business needs. Define delivery schedules, provide effort estimates and ensure execution.


Description

Main areas of focus and accountability of the role - detail in order of importance the main areas of accountability of the role:

 

 * Works with solutions owners, solutions analysts, business owners and customers to translate requirements into solutions to meet business needs.

 * Define delivery schedules, provide effort estimates and ensure execution to plan for assigned deliverables. Lead small scale internal projects as necessary. Coordinate delivery across IT teams.

 * Design and develop new solutions by performing analysis and applying robust architecture to satisfy the objectives stated in business requirements. Follow industry best practices, techniques and standardized processes that deliver improved integration solutions.

 * Evaluate and select process, design patterns, data storage methods, and runtime settings that effectively satisfy both the enterprise service bus and business requirements.

 * Develop, document, present and defend propositions for architecture at the enterprise, and solution level. Detail the designs based on documented requirements on services and its enhancements.

 * Define, improve and follow the interfaces governance process and act as a catalyst for ensuring quality deliverables are produced by integration engineers.

 * Contributes to incident resolution by diagnosing and troubleshooting complex incidents, gathering additional information, follows the continuous service improvement process. Participates/monitors the resolution and/or root cause analysis and proposes preventive measures.

Profile

The IT Integration Specialist will have:

Bachelor degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Logistics Management

Desirable:

 

 * ITIL Foundation

 

 *  Technology/domain-driven

 

 * TIBCO Certified Professional

Experience:

 

 * Minimum 5-7 years of experience working in application and services integration space using TIBCO products

 

 *  Hand on experience in design, test, implementation, deployment and management of applications and services using TIBCO products (BusinessWorks, EMS, Hawk and others).

 

 * Experience in SOA based integration, API Integration, B2B & B2C Integrations
 * Valuable Experience working in a logistics (3PL) environment

Knowledge:

 

 * Hands on experience with TIBCO ESB Suite

 

 *  Business Works

 

 *  Enterprise Messaging Service

 

 *  Hawk monitoring

 

 * TIBCO File Adapters, ADB Adapter, SAP Adapter

 

 *  REST/JSON plugins

 

 *  Logging and Error handling frame

 

 *  Scripting, TIBCO AppManage, Ant Scripts and TIBCO Hawk Accelerator framework

 

 *  Strong experience with XML/XSL/XSLT/XSD, JAXDB, SOAP, WSDL, HTTP, REST, APIs
 * 

Experience with Databases including MySQL, Oracle or MS SQL Server

 

 * Must demonstrate very sound and in-depth understanding of SOA/EAI/ESB concepts.

 

 * Hands-on development experience with TIBCO EMS, Business Works and Hawk
 * 

Build management, release management and version control

Desirable:

 

 * TIBCO Certified Professional for Business Works

 

 *  TIBCO Certified Professional for Enterprise Message Service

 

 *  TIBCO Certified SOA Architect

 

 *  Enterprise Integration Patterns
