Working primarily with RedPrairie platforms, this position designs software architectures, transforms user needs & functional designs/specifications into Standardize WMS packages, system designs to rollout in the landscape massively and quickly.


Description

The IT JDA WMS Solution Architect will have the following task and responsibilities:

 * Leveraged as the JDA/RedPrairie WMS solution expert for transformational projects/programs 

 

 * Strong domain knowledge in JDA/RedPrairie WMS solution to understand how the JDA solutions can be configured and delivered to better facilitate customer business processes 

 

 * Strong domain knowledge in JDA/RedPrairie Discrete WMS solution to construct an overall architecture for current and future customer business needs 

 

 * Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences 

 

 * Provides advice to customers regarding industry best practices and process methodology 

 

 * Ability to estimate effort of task level implementation activities that are within the scope of the project and recommend appropriate role to execute those tasks 

 

 * Able to ask appropriate questions to assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution. 

 

 * Can demonstrate and facilitate integration discussions of product functionality and product architecture (i. e. Show data and process flow from one JDA solution to another) 

 

 * Conducts/leads business process analysis or design, construction, validation, and deployment phases of the project


Profile

The IT JDA WMS Solution Architect will be:

* Self-motivator that can work without regular instructions.
 * Independent, taking full ownership of tasks
 * Minimum 7 years' experience in logistics with JDA Discrete / JDA WMS product

* 3+ years above leading WMS product experience and proficiency in big process modeling and IT solution consultancy 
 * Good technical skill and solid experience on product design and capable of leading complex enterprise application and technical e.g. integration, database etc. design independently 
 * Strong experience in application and data architecture design
 * Familiar with popular technologies, e.g. SQL, Reporting Service, Jasper Reports, Nice label… 
 * Good Documentation skills and capable to prepare project documents as required, for e.g. Design, release notes, deployment instruction, etc. 
 * Ability to facilitate workshops with stakeholders across the organization
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, managers, and subject matter experts
