As a L&D Localisation Specialist, you will ensure that our global workforce can access high-quality, culturally relevant learning experiences in their own language. You will support the L&D Product Ownership team by managing the end-to-end localisation workflow - from working with the validated English version of each intervention to delivering the final, quality-checked translations across multiple formats, including elearning modules, video subtitles, and documentation. In this role, you will ensure consistency, clarity, and timely delivery across all learning products.
What You Will DoTranslation & Localisation
• Manage the translation of learning materials into seven languages using the CoPilot agent, including elearning modules, subtitles, scripts, PDFs, LMS descriptions, and microlearning assets.
• Adapt content to ensure cultural appropriateness and relevance for global audiences.
• Maintain consistent terminology and phrasing across all learning products.
Manage Localisation Process
• Oversee the localisation pipeline across multiple languages, formats, and sprint cycles.
• Track tasks in collaboration with Product Owners and Journey Owners, ensuring readiness and quality of source materials.
• Coordinate with internal and external proofreaders to validate translations and resolve linguistic inconsistencies.
Quality Assurance
• Conduct linguistic QA to ensure accuracy, formatting compliance, and alignment with learning objectives.
• Ensure all translations adhere to internal style guides, brand tone, and accessibility standards.
Use Tools & Technical Expertise
• Review translated modules directly in authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise.
• Use translation memory tools, glossaries, and terminology databases effectively.
• Manage and upload localised content into LMS platforms.
• Edit video captions, subtitles, and translated scripts.
Collaboration with Stakeholders
• Partner with regional teams and proofreaders to collect feedback and ensure linguistic accuracy.
• Communicate timelines, requirements, and status updates with the L&D Product Owner team.
• Support planning, forecasting, and managing localisation needs.What You Will BringMust-Have Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; studies in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or Education are a plus but not mandatory.
• Fluent in English and in French and/or German (Italian, Japanese also desirable)
• Proven experience in translating or localising digital learning, training materials, or multimedia content.
• Ability to work with common visual and multimedia formats (basic image/video handling).
• Exceptional attention to linguistic detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests across parallel sprints.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Cultural sensitivity and a commitment to inclusive learning practices.
• Experience working in global, cross-functional environments.
• A learner-centric, proactive approach to L&D, with a passion for enabling growth and performance.
Nice to Have
• Understanding of LMS platforms and digital asset upload processes.
• Experience with video captioning, subtitle editing, and script localisation.
• Basic graphic design skills (image editing, layout adjustments, understanding of export formats).
• Basic video editing skills (trimming, adding subtitles, adjusting visual elements).
• Familiarity with elearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Rise/Storyline). • Competitive salary aligned with your experience
