Lead Engineer Hydrogen Storage f/m
YOUR RESPONSABILITIES
•Responsibility for all hydrogen storage development tasks in customer- and R&D projects •Definition of Component DVPs and certification requirements •Hydrogen storage concept definition •Supplier identification, benchmarking, selection & technical steering •Technical responsibility for hydrogen storage system integration and vehicle mounting •Definition of SW requirements for the tank control unit •Definition of safety measures, concepts and evaluation •Support of cost analysis of different hydrogen storage concepts •Technology scouting for advanced & innovative hydrogen storage solutions
Your profile
•Successful mechanical engineering or engineering management graduate of a university or university of applied sciences (BA) •Minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience in the development and integration of hydrogen storage systems •Deep understanding of different storage technologies (pressurized, cryo, cryo-compressed) •Experience in vehicle integration, certification and road release of hydrogen storage systems •Understanding of manufacturing technologies & processes of hydrogen vessels •Understanding of global hydrogen refilling protocols and their impact on the layout and control of the hydrogen storage system •Good networking skills, good teamplayer •Sense of responsibility, business intellect and entrepreneurial initiative •Prepared to travel on business (internationally) •Confident in conducting negotiations in German and English
