Funciones

The Mechanical Engineer Senior will carry out thermal and mechanical stress analyses by using Solidworks FEA package. Perform quick approximate hand calculations to check feasibilities of various physical design concepts. Make design spreadsheets for estimating performance and evaluating trade-offs between various design parameters. Generate technical simulations and animations for commercial purposes.

* Develop projects from concept to completion
* Conduct field investigations and prepare reports for R&D
* Responsible for data entry, document revision and control of all generated information

Requisitos

The Mechanical Engineer Senior should have/be:
* Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in CAD design. Aerospace sector will be a plus
* Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering
* Proficient in using Finite Element Analysis principles and associated tools
* Demonstrated experience with SolidWorks Simulation and/or Nastran as a plus
* Experience with hand calculations
* In-depth knowledge of engineering principles and design techniques to vibration analysis, aerospace material science, structural design and reliability
* Strong analysis and practical problem-solving abilities to improve designs
* Oral, written and diagrammatic communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear concepts
* Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team with other engineers
* Flexibility/adaptability in a fast-paced & dynamic environment
* Open to flexible hours requiring occasional evening and weekend work
* Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
