Reporting directly to the Head of Motor Spain, this role will be responsible for propose content and follow up on the commercial positioning and technical definition of the different products (coverage, prices, services, others).


* Perform the weekly / monthly monitoring of Auto business through the analysis of the information (KPIs) detecting alarms and proposing corrections in rate accordingly, as well as detecting business opportunities and actions to carry out the business development;

 * Track the new business and renewal business indicators (quotations, conversions, premiums, retention and profitability ratios) proposing adjustments in models optimization to achieve the business plan monthly;

 * Ensure the profitability of Auto business within the guidelines set: coordinate information with the technical units (pricing, reserves, and claims) to follow and ensure that the business behaviour conforms to the plans established by the company. Before deviations, will propose corrective actions, evaluate impacts from the economic point of view, communicate and negotiate with the commercial department;

 * Propose tariffs changes agreed with the pricing team to redress adverse situations in terms of profitability or sales;

 * Coordinate the internal development of the products with the Marketing Area (within the Supply Unit), requiring and negotiating the different services associated on Customer / Market Knowledge, in order to develop the information of support and marketing applications that the product needs for its success both in sales and in profitability for customers, mediators and partners;

 * Opinion on the underwriting policy, in accordance with current regulations;

 * Identify new business opportunities, product, markets, new distribution channels, carry out the business case and business plan, to assess its viability, as well as define what conditions would have to be done (rate, commission, subscription);

 * Design product characteristics, in terms of regulatory issues, establish the different documents that make up the insurance contracts, design the distribution channel, subscription rules, subscription delegation and what type of promotion will be made for marketing;


* Degree qualified with relevant senior subject matter expertise in Product Management (Actuary, Statistics, Maths,…)
 * 3+ years' experience in similar roles;
 * Product development and market experience;
 * Knowledge of legal and regulatory issues relevant to Motor Product Line;
 * Demonstrates advanced technical knowledge and market experience; 

 * Highly driven with an ability to work effectively both under own initiative and in a fast paced, multi-national environment;


 * Excellent communicator with ability to effectively influence;


 * Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills; working closely with other individuals / teams to achieve common business goals;


 * Excellent numeric and analytical skills; high level of excel, knowledge of SAS


 * Acts with integrity, confidence and accountability at all times;


 * Spanish and English languages
