Funciones

The main responsibilities of an Office Manager are…

Use your organization and creativity to create an amazing office experience. This includes greeting external visitors with warmth and energy, staying on top of team needs like ordering equipment and other materials for the office, receiving and distributing incoming mail, stocking the kitchen with healthy and delicious snacks, ensuring we always have the espresso machine stocked, sending documents to clients and other Devex offices and handling travel arrangements for Devexers on the go.
Support the Communications & Happiness Associates in creating an innovative, welcoming work environment for Barcelona Devexers
Be the go-to expert for anything office related for new hires and tenured Devexers
Collaborate and check in regularly with the Administration team in Devex’s Washington and Manila offices
Utilize your accounting finesse through paying vendor invoices, checking payroll for accuracy, updating Devex bank account information and communicating account changes to the Corporate Administration team.
Act as the point person for external consultants and vendors
Support special projects as needed

Requisitos

Spanish work authorization
    At least two years of working experience in office administration, finance, procurement, bookkeeping, or vendor management
    Ability to work 40 hours per week
    Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism
    Experience working within a culturally diverse environment
    Fluency in English and Spanish
    Strong Microsoft Office skills: PowerPoint, Word, Excel and knowledge of other platforms such as Quickbooks
    Strong organization and communication skills (both verbal and written)
    Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

Besides the basic requirements, here’s what we’d love to see…

    A bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting or any related field
    Experience working with a virtual team
    Experience working in international development or with an international company
    Knowledge of Catalan
    Knowledge of Spanish labor / taxation laws and visa processes
    Attention to detail and organizational and prioritization skills
