Do you want to work toward a professional management role? If so, this opportunity is for you! As a Performance Acceleration Engineer for our performance acceleration (PA) manufacturing group you will join our 4-year international program, including worldwide exposure (through 2 projects of 20 weeks duration and 2 training sessions of one month duration per year). You will be part of the Performance Acceleration team (around 30 members) who perform projects all over the world helping our factories to achieve Manufacturing Excellence in performance across all manufacturing drivers.
 
As a Performance Acceleration Engineer, you will have a local Swiss contract but will be mainly on missions each year, (anywhere in the world) with the following responsibilities:

•	Contribute to the definition of the initiatives to achieve the objectives defined in the project brief to drive Manufacturing Excellence in Nestlé
•	Set objectives and define clear standards for success in the area of responsibility and develop project planning, follow up and governance
•	To conduct thorough analyses of losses and opportunities in the supported factory operations; select the best method to approach each challenge and develop the solutions with key users and stakeholders
•	Deploy Focused Improvement (FI Pillar) methodology
•	Co-lead the initiatives and coach members from the supported units in the responsibility area in compliance with Manufacturing standards and practices
•	Develop relationships with stakeholders & sponsors, built credibility and trust, anticipate reactions & find common ground for the benefit of the company
•	Based on performance, after 24 months, your responsibilities may progressively increase up to the level of a Project Leader on site, which includes:
•	Full project responsibility including budget and project deliverables
•	Lead, coach and develop a team of 6-12 members

Requisitos

Education and experience:
 

•	Master of Science Degree in Engineering (E.g. Mechanical, Industrial Engineering)
•	Min. 2-3 year’s experience in factory environment, in line functions or specialist roles within Production, Quality, Engineering or similar background in consultancy. Preferably in leadership positions leading other people
•	Exposure to problem solving tools such as Six Sigma (DMAIC& SMED) and Loss Tree Analysis is an advantage
•	Ability to successfully lead projects, preferably cross-functional or above the market level projects and coach a multi-functional and multi-cultural team
•	Fluent in English, plus at least 1 or 2 major languages
•	Strong motivation to travel worldwide (min. 90% constant travel each year) and pursue an international career in Manufacturing is a must.
