We are currently looking for   several Turners and Machinists M/F for our GE Oil & Gas entity based in   Fougerolles (France) and leader in the design, manufacture and repair of   advanced equipment in the field of industrial gears, As a machinist, you will join the   Manufacturing Division of the Fougerolles site. The position requires working   in successive teams on three shifts (night, afternoon, morning).
 
By joining the GE Oil & Gas   Fougerolles site (about 300 people), which has become the center of   excellence for new gearboxes or speed multipliers, you will enhance your   technical skills on a very specific type of activity, and will participate in   the transformation of a rapidly growing company (doubling the workforce over   the next two years). The goal of this site is to become GE's global   manufacturing center for gearboxes and multipliers. Join us and participate   in this great project. 

Requisitos

As an M/F Machinist, your   missions will be:

•	Perform the machining of metal parts on a parallel lathe and/or vertical lathe and/or numerically controlled machine, in compliance with applicable quality and safety rules, and according to a plan and an operation sheet.
•	Carry out work on numerically and/or conventionally controlled machine tools, and make the adjustments independently. 
•	Comply with the plan and machining operation sheet and ensure traceability of the parts (date + stamp); validate the operation sheets.
•	Monitor the working condition of your machine and of the tool presetter
•	You have a vocational certificate in mechanics (ideally a "baccalauréat professionnel" as a machining technician or operator-adjuster on a CNC machine), or equivalent experience/knowledge. 
•	You already have a first experience (or a proven experience) in machining, if possible in numerical control (CNC), and have good knowledge in reading plans.
•	Ideally you have good knowledge of numerical control programming tools: FANUC, FAGOR, SIEMENS, NUM, etc. Knowledge of made-to-order manufacturing will be appreciated.
•	You are motivated by production and teamwork.
•	Responsible and rigorous, you are sensitive to quality and safety.
•	You are looking for autonomy and stability.
