Funciones

Performs a combination of skilled electronic/mechanical and clerical tasks in the United States Consulate General’s residence and the Government leased apartment in Barcelona.

Requisitos

Education:  Secondary school. Vocational training or a recognized apprenticeship in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or electronics is required.

Requirements:

Experience:  Minimum of one year of experience working as a journey-level plumber, electrician, HVAC technician, or generator mechanic.

Job Knowledge:  Working knowledge of Spanish mail regulations. Basic electronics knowledge.

Evaluations:

Language:  Level 3 (good working knowledge) of English speaking/reading/writing.  Level 3 of Spanish (good working knowledge speaking/reading/writing. This may be tested.  

Skills and abilities: Must have a valid Spanish driving license for Class B and Class C-1. Lifting skills up to 50 pounds. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required. Incumbent must be flexible in handling the duties of the position.
