Funciones

EY Real Estate is responsible for a number of services including property acquisition and disposal, refurbishments and relocations of offices, as well as management of all capital projects related to Real Estate.

The Workplace Design intern will support the EMEIA Design & Framework Leader with all the Design & Projects team activities related to the EY Design Guidelines as well any design related Frameworks (existing or future). This team member will also support the team with reporting activities and managing access to relevant EY resources.

The proposed role will support the team with space programming activities for projects and reviews of test fits and design packages for projects to ensure EY@Work interior design principles as well as the design and branding guidelines are followed.

The Workplace Design Intern will support the Design & Projects team in a number of activities including but not limited to the following:

· Support DFL in upcoming projects and initiatives creating test fits, briefs and high-level concepts for stakeholder presentations and architect briefing.

· Support putting together the space programming for projects and brief for the framework architect for test fit preparation.

· Develop design standards materials for EY Global Design Guidelines Portal update.

· Edit templates for architectural, furniture & carpet frameworks as well as any other design related frameworks that EY will enter.

· Benchmark projects in terms of space programming and manage a database of completed projects photos and design information.

· Support DFL reviewing test fit options as well as concept and detailed design prior to finalisation and provide comments based on design guidelines and EY@Work principles.

· Prepare reports as required specially for wellbeing, inclusive design and sustainability

Requisitos

Education and training:
- Post-graduate in Architecture or Interior Design (Spain framework: se aceptan estudiantes de Grado y Master)

Skills, knowledge and abilities required:
- Strong commitment skills and ability to work on multiple tasks
- Willingness to take on new challenges and work in an international team.
- Knowledge of workspace planning principles as well as interior design elements that create impact in the office space
- Understanding of principals of fitting out offices and refurbishment of spaces
- Enthusiastic, committed and determined

Work experience (time, functions and industries):
- Not required previous work experience or +1 year in a design related role, ideally workspace planning.

Languages:
- Strong English communication skills (oral/ written) Minimum C1 - level English required.

Computer skills / other knowledge:
- Software tools use: 2D and 3D Modelling and rendering skills: Preferably AutoCAD, Revit and Photoshop, 3ds Max Studio or similar programs.
- Ability to prepare succinct Power Point presentations
- Excellent understanding of MS Excel and modelling
