Leading multinational company in the packaging sector is looking for a Process Engineer Descripción de la oferta * Reporting to Operations Director, the Process Engineer will lead initiatives and activities within the manufacturing areas. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Project Management and Continuous Improvement with Lean Manufacturing and 6s You will act as a change agent for leading and managing Continuous Improvement processes while instilling a culture of accountability. The list below is not exhaustive of the responsibilities of the Operational Excellence Manager. * Utilise business acumen and analyse operations KPI's to detect improvement opportunities to eliminate waste and bottlenecks and smooth the production flow. * Delivery of strategic continuous improvement projects and programmes. * Lead productivity improvement projects to ensure sustainable reduction of downtime and setup times. * Lead programmes of cost reduction, controllable waste, stock, consumables, etc. * Work closely and coach all members of the operations team and shift managers to develop a performance management and results-driven culture. * Lead problem solving workshops and interact with departments to develop a culture which promotes root cause analysis and daily problem elimination, whilst devising and implementing tangible improvement plans. * Introduce and Implement Standard Work routines and Standard Operating Procedures. * Coach operators and promote lean manufacturing principles (5S, VSM, SMED, TPM) and continuous improvement culture and mindset. * Develop employees through training and awareness programmes of the Lean Toolkit. * Liaise and work closely with other colleagues of the Division to benchmark best practises and continuously improve our processes. Perfil del candidato * Hold an Industrial Engineering Degree * 3 years experience in manufacturing, corrugated packaging (preferable), FMCG, Pharma, etc. * Fluent in English * Strong Leadership ability and people management skills * Proven Project Management experience. Able to work in a systematic and rigorous way * Change Management and able to deal with resistance * Ability to communicate effectively from shop floor to board level * Analytical and Structured Problem Solving skills. Drive improvement through facts and figures * Lean and 6 Sigma tools and techniques and proven Lean Transformation experience * Computer literate (Microsoft Package).
