Funciones

At LHH Sevilla, we are seeking a senior Process Engineer with main experience in managing project design of reaction system and related process engineering development and implementation for an industrial company in the chemical sector.
Travel will be required to the projects to ensure the process and production we are going to developed on the new sites.
Candidates must be EU citizens or have a valid working visa for Spain. 
Functions:
· Lead the design of the reactor and its internals, selecting and managing engineering contractors and equipment vendors.
· Assist the Engineering Manager in the elaboration of the FEED/FEL-3 and EPCM packages for our industrial projects, leading the process design.
· Review the deliverables produced by our engineering contractors, conducting the execution of the FEED/FEL-3 and EPC work on the process prospective.
· Analyse the basic engineering design to improve the performance of the current design along with finding ways to optimize Capex, Opex and carbon footprint.
· Generate process simulations with Aspen Plus to improve our current process specifications.
· Create Capex/Opex economic models and feasibility studies.
· Supervise the Life-cycle Analysis carried out by suppliers to improve our industrial carbon footprint.
· Supervise the safety design of the FEED / EPC and carry out HAZOPs and HAZIPs.
· Adapt the current design to future industrial plants, raising its capacity and implementing improvements in their process engineering design.
· Engage with clients and their technical teams in due diligence processes where they assess our technology and be available to answer customer doubts providing technical process guidance.
· Participate of the commissioning and startup of the reaction system for new sites in 2026.

Requisitos

· MSc degree in Engineering such as Process, Chemical or a related field.

· 8+ years of experience in chemical projects. Deep knowledge of industrial installations, catalytic processes, process engineering and distillation.

· Expertise in FEED and EPC project execution according to project management global standards.

· Practical experience with manufacturers of catalytic reactors, ideally heterogeneous with distillation process.

· Extensive and demonstrable experience generating engineering documents: MEBs, PFD, P&IDs, equipment lists, layouts etc.

· Versed working with Aspen Plus.

· Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
