Procurement Specialist - Pricing Department.


Description

As Procurement Specialist you will:

 * Work hand in hand with our local sales teams to negotiate adjusted rates with our different vendors, for specific volumes and accounts.
 * Be accountable for the product development in the market in terms of competitiveness, product offer and coverage for FCL, LCL, Air and road.
 * Cultivate and strengthen our relationship with the different vendors locally to ensure the highest service level and cooperation continuity.
 * Manage possible price mismatches or misalignments between the agreed applicable price and the invoiced price from the different vendors.
 * Monitor the different volume commitments with our vendors (MQCs) and proactively apply strategies to achieve them.
 * Report periodically the performance of the market.


Profile

* Previous experience in freight forwarding for ocean products (airfreight is a plus) is a MUST
 * Excellent organizational skills (project management) and attention to detail.
 * Very good command of MS Excel for reporting.
 * Good communication skills and a self-starter attitude, with attention to detail and focused on results and productivity.
 * Well-spoken English and Spanish (professional level).
 * Problem-solving mindset to deliver quick and efficient solutions autonomously
 * Ability to prioritize and proactiveness to foresee issues and provide solutions
