Funciones

A leading supplier of wind power solutions is looking for a Mechanical Engineer!

Mision: Integrated in Service Technology, apply the required knowledge for the resolution of technical issues and the definition of design improvements in OEMs wind turbines.

Tasks:
 * Analysing technical inquiries
 * Developing technical solutions
 * Providing tech. expertise (e.g. for Customer comm., EoW, Supplier qualification,..)

Roles and responsabilities:
 * Provide technical support on the issues escalated: e.g. complex troubleshooting, RCA, engineering statement
 * Perform RCA investigation and reporting. 8D participation.
 * Develop repair solutions and retrofit design changes for issues on the fleet of turbines meeting the agreed requirements. Develop the corresponding work instructions / methodology.
 * Collaborate in the validation of the modifications defined. Planning and executing trials for retrofits in the lab as well as in the field
 * Knowledge sharing with the rest of the colleagues in SE PL TE.

Requisitos

Education: Bachelor or Master`s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Previous experience: Experience of +3 years in Wind Energy Industry within Engineering and / or Maintenance (as field technician, commissioning, etc). 
Technical Knowledge:
 * Windturbine maintenance and assembly knowledge: preventive and corrective, alarms, diagnosis tasks, commissioning, etc. 
 * Mechanical components general knowledge: bolted joints, welding, bearings, gears, shafts, hydraulic components, lubrication, etc. 
 * Data analysis tools (Matlab, PI Data link, ..), specific monitoring techniques and NDT (Non-destructive testing) methods.
 * Root cause analysis (RCA) methods and tools (8D / FTA / FMEA)

Other additional knowledge:
 * Electrical schemes 
 * General regulations and standards in wind industry 
 * 2D/3D drafting (i.e. CATIA, NX)
