This role is part of the Operations department, overseeing the entire production process-including blending, filling, warehousing, and maintenance-to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing that meets agreed OEE targets. With a strong focus on safety, quality, and on-time delivery, the organization guarantees production aligned with customer needs, company standards, and local regulations. The purpose of this role us to ensure production process is carried out according to applicable standards and regulations. Expert level support to the production team leads for quality and production issues arising from ongoing operations optimizing the operational processes required for obtaining the finish product. Key Responsibilities: · Change the way knowledge and production management for the production process is executed, by fostering digital initiatives and verify opportunities for AI · Manage availability and performance in filling lines · Manage production asset changes and ensure they do comply with our policies, quality standards and legal requirements · Assure all production activities do comply with the requirements of LQS and GPC · Ensures operations process and quality relevant documentation in BMS (SOPs, Process Description, etc.) are regularly reviewed and/or updated based on current needs · Drive continuous improvement or RFT (right first time) and asset utilization · Define project scope for improvement projects BOD - (Base of Design) · Evaluate opportunities to handle off spec base oils/product to minimize cost for us · Short term advice for day-to-day operation challenges · Support on Customer Compliant Handling · Member in FMEA team · Routing of Blocked Stocks and Rework · Active participation in improvement processes through the identification and implementation of suggestions for process optimization. Dimensions: · Minimizing NRFT in filling lines reducing the MCV in transfers from blender to holdings and holdings to filling lines. · Ultimately ensures quality of delivered products always adheres to the specified standards · Ensures that promises of manufacturability for all products are being kept · Actively drives change on the path to fully digital knowledge mgmt. of the production process Competencies: · Ability to take well weighted up decisions taking into consideration technical and commercial risk with the Operations Manager, Blending Supervisor, Filling Supervisor and Warehouse Supervisor · Ability to coach the operations Senior Operators and Operators to minimize ad-hoc intervention into the production process · Ability to understand how different IT systems interact to provide support · Good Teamwork and communication skills, ability to educate and coach of production staff
· University degree in chemical engineering or process engineering or another relevant technical discipline with multiyear practical experience in an industrial environment · Very good knowledge of LSCs products and its blending operations as well as applicable quality requirements for production · Knowledge about PCD IT Systems · Fundamental knowledge about asset safety requirements · Fluent oral and written Spanish & English skills
