Project Manager - supports the delivery of the projects by managing the technical and construction elements of the development process. Experience in Student accommodation / Residential or Hotel sectors. * Feasibility and Initial technical due diligence, reviewing technical data - providing input to the Investment Team; * Manages and monitors the delivery of the construction projects - reporting on Programme, Budget and Quality; * Manages and maintains ongoing relationships with project and construction teams; * Liasion with Operational team; * Weekly surveillance on construction progress on site, controlling the Delegated Development role and technical team involved. * Completion works defects list amendment control. * Hand Over process in all projects, completion works documentation and O&M control. * FF&E works coordination control and support. * Company development documentation upgrade and structure upgrade.
* Knowledge of working in the Spanish construction industry, managing cost and project dynamics; * Knowledge of building regulations, technical building specifications and experience with planning application processes; * Managing consultants, design team, tendering, construction delivery and contractors within the residential for rent, student housing or hotel sectors; * Experience in preparing and presenting reports to senior team members; * At least 7 years' experience in a similar role - construction and /or project management companies. * Have experience in Student accommodation / Residential or Hotel sectors. * Expertisee in tendering, bid placing reports, construction progress technical control, cost control, etc. * Technical control on site experience, including defect amendment control, hand over, O&M knowledge and post-construction phase management. * Expert proficiency with MS Office - Word, Excel, Project; * Ability to effectively review information and submissions from consultants and contractors; * FF&E coordination and tendering; * Have a degree level educational qualification in construction e.g. Architect, Building Engineer, Technical Eng.; * Hold a professional membership MRICS or equivalent is a plus; * Be a self-starter who is interested in the PBSA and Construction markets; * High Level of English (B2 minimum, preferebly C1 level). * Willingness to work into a small - competent team. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish and retain positive relationships; * Be comfortable with accountability and at the same time be able to collaborate well in a team environment; and * Be passionate about delivering market leading projects.
