Team/division description:
To assure the Quality of raw materials and critical parts to our European Manufacturing Companies (EMC). Materials and Parts Quality have the following responsibilities:
* Inspection Control Function for raw materials at EMC's.
* Critical parts and process Quality Assurance.
* Corrosion improvement activity.
* Parts failure analysis based on material expertise.

Requisitos

Your responsibilities:
This role forms part of the pan-European quality team who assure raw materials used in each of our
European Manufacturing Companies (EMCs).

Responsible for 4 paint suppliers and 1 pre-treatment suppliers operating in four EMCs, the successful candidates will be involved in all aspects of quality assurance, namely:

* Confirmation of design and pre-production activity for all new paint material and pre-treatment processes.
* The auditing of new suppliers to confirm process capability and quality assurance
* Evaluation of new products.
* Maintenance of QA systems and standards within EMCs, Toyota Motor Europe divisions, and paint suppliers.
* Investigation of the root cause and implementation of countermeasures for all paint material quality problems raised by EMCs.
* Raising standards.

Profile: 

* Must be practical and logical with a hands-on approach.
* Must be a confident communicator with good problem-solving skills.
* Must be able to show initiative in any problems that you face.
* Must be fluent in English (TME business language).
* Knowledge/experience of paints for automotive application is an asset.
* Must have a degree in Materials Science and Engineering, or Chemistry.
* Ideally you will have 18 months of relevant experience.
