International RE company is looking for a Senior Accountant for the Finance department.

The chosen candidate will have the following responsabilities:

 * You will do the daily accounting of several Iberian subsidiaries: input of purchase invoices, preparation of payments, processing banks statements, booking revenues, …
 * You will be booking rental flows and follow up with the commercial team on outstanding receivables
 * You will perform monthly soft closings from A to Z of different subsidiaries, quarterly closings with strict deadlines and a hard close on November
 * You will perform account reconciliations on a monthly basis
 * Communication/coordination with the operational staff in the residencies in Spain in order to register all transactions in a timely and correct manner
 * You will work close together with the other members of the Finance team to have the closings done accurately and in time, in line with the deadlines set by HQ Antwerp
 * You will be responsible, under supervision of the Finance & Accounting Manager, for the monthly/quarterly/yearly compliance with respect to VAT, income taxes, annual accounts
 * You will liaise with the external accountant for the Portugese entities
 * You will prepare an audit file for the external auditors


Perfil del candidato

The chosen candidate should have the following skills:

 * You have a bachelor's degree in accountancy(-taxation) and/or at least 5 years of experience in a similar position and have broad working experience in accounting and Spanish tax compliance
 * You have an excellent knowledge of English and can communicate well in English and Spanish, knowledge of Portuguese is a plus
 * Good oral communication skills
 * Knowledge of Winbooks is a plus
 * You can work fluently with Microsoft Excel
 * You are an enthusiastic and proactive person
 * You are eager to learn, a team player and enthusiastic

Requisitos

Bachelor's degree in accountancy(-taxation)
5 years of experience in a similar position 
You have an excellent knowledge of English and can communicate well in English and Spanish
