Important american multinational company of the retail sector is looking for a Senior Accountant based in Madrid. The ideal candidate must have minimum 5 years of experience in similar role in a multinational company, with knowledge of taxes and reporting. Very high English level is a must.


Description

As Senior Accountant and part of the Finance team, you will report directly to the Controller. Your responsibilities would include:

 * As Senior Accountant will have a high impact in the controlling department supporting the growth of the Accounting Team within the Finance Team. Your responsibilities would include: 

 * Accounting of the payroll / bonus / vacation part and report of this part in the quarterly closings (G&A) 

 * Report quarterly closings in HFM of the G&A part.

 * Tax preparation.
 * Ensuring the reconciliation of balance sheet
 * Works directly with external and internal auditors to carry out yearly audits 
 * Implementation of new tools and projects (App Tickelia, Microstrategy, and other project proposed by the US) 
 * Control of bank reconciliations, coordinate processes internally and with the external company. 
 * Development of internal manuals.
 * Participate and support month-end closing.


Profile

* Business Administration degree or similar.

 * Minimum of 5 - 7 years relevant working experience, with at least 2-3 years working as in accounting in a multinational company.

 * Knowledge of taxes and reporting will be a plus.
 * Previous experience working in a Big 4 (Audit or Outsourcing) will be a plus.

 * Analytical profile.

 * Able to demonstrate good administration.

 * Organization and analysis skill focus on results.

 * Hands on and committed.


Job Offer

* Salary package: 35.000 € fixed salary + bonus + fringe benefits.

 * Final offer will depend on the real experience demonstrated along the process.
