Real Estate company located in Madrid is looking for a Senior Accountant with English and experience in Real Estate Residential/Hospitality


Description

The chosen candidate will be responsible of the following tasks:

 * Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and taxes

 * Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions

 * Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings

 * Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness

 * Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information

 * Train and guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities, reviewing work produced and answering questions

 * Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end

 * Assist in the implementation of new ERP system (Navision) and other accounting project

 * Any other task required for the role


Profile

The chosen candidate should have the following requirements:

 *  Studies related to Finance, Economics, or similar

 * +5 years of experience in accounting roles; with experience in Real Estate Residential/Hospitality.

 * High level of English is mandatory
 * Experience with Microsoft accounting software (Dynamics NAV/Dynamics AX) is a plus
