Funciones

The Senior Accountant include a broad range of accounting functions including processing and confirming intercompany transactions and balances, preparation and processing of manual journal entries, such as accruals, prepaid, between others, completion of account reconciliations, assist Management with MEC Reporting into the consolidation system, and ensuring compliance with SOX controls and company policies.


Description

* Perform monthly closing activities, such as intercompany reconciliations, cash postings and reconciliations, fixed assets depreciation, AP accruals, prepaid amortization, rebates accruals, between other tasks.
 * Support Management with the reporting into Consolidation System (HFM).
 * Control Daily Cash accounting
 * Perform payments in the bank system.
 * Prepare and post monthly manual journal entries. Ensure journals and reconciliations has appropriate supporting documentation.
 * Support the Supervisor/Manager on other MEC tasks as needed
 * Posting of supplier invoices and daily bank statements postings.
 * Ensure that all processing and reporting deadlines are consistently achieved
 * Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and company policies and procedures.
 * Ensure back-up is fully trained.
 * Special projects as assigned.


Profile

* Bachelor' Degree in Accounting/Finance
 * Over 3 years of Accounting/Finance experience required
 * Strong team-building skills and the proven ability to work with a diverse group of people.
 * Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English or/and German
 * Experience with SAP (JDE and HFM is a plus).
