Important multinational company is looking for a Senior Accountant based in Madrid. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in a multinational environment. Wide knowledge of IFRS. Very high English level is a must.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following responsibilities:

 * Management of General Ledger
 * Monthly balance sheet, P&L and Intercompany reconciliations.
 * Processing of Accounts PAyable General & Administrative expense invoices in the system.
 * Reconciliation of Accounts Receivable accounts.
 * Intercompany AR/AP balance settlement reconciliation.
 * Preparation of the monthly/anual tax reports.
 * Trasury: bank reconciliations, cash acconting, preparation of paymen instructions for AP invoices, etc.
 * Preparation and posting of monthly entries requested for the monthly/quarterly closing process.
 * Monthly and year-end financial reporting, completed within strict deadlines.
 * Works directly with external and internal auditors to carry out yaely audits.
 * Improve internal controls as well as finance processes.
 * Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.


Perfil del candidato

* Bachelors degree in Economics, Business Administration, or similar.
 * 5 years of experience working as a Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager or similar in a multinational company.
 * Wide knowledge of IFRS.
 * Strong computer software skills (Excel, MS Word)
 * Very high English level is a must


Oferta de empleo

Salary package: 35.000-40.000 € fixed salary + 10% variable + social benefits
