Funciones

Strategic procurement leadership
develop procurement strategies across key categories (primarily IT) in collaboration with stakeholders to optimise cost, drive efficiency and deliver value for money
Sourcing execution
develop + execute sourcing exercises (RFPs/negotiations) leveraging market insight and commercial acumen to support business priorities, whilst providing day
to
day commercial advice to stakeholders regarding vendor related activities
Team management and development
manage junior members of the team to ensure delivery of key Procurement activities in line with expectations, and foster culture of professional development and best practice
Business partnering
with senior stakeholders to determine business priorities and how procurement can best support the delivery of these
Post award vendor management
lead post award vendor management activities across a portfolio of strategic vendors to enable effective performance and relationship management
Awareness of market trends and opportunities / risks impacting how the business acquires key goods/services and opportunities to improve
Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on supplier strategy and commercial decisions

Requisitos

Expertise in leading complex sourcing activities (e. g. RFX, outsourcing/transformation initiatives)
Skilled negotiator with proven track record of negotiating IT contracts (e. g. SaaS, Professional Services / Outsourcing) ; including both commercial and legal aspects
Ability to engage + influence stakeholders at all levels of the business
Demonstrable experience of cost take
out initiatives undertaken and results delivered
Hands on experience of post award vendor management
specifically working strategically with large vendors to unlock value, drive innovation, manage risk etc.
Data driven thinker with ability to analyse data and drive insights to inform direction
Strong understanding of fundamental procurement governance, supporting processes and procurement systems
10 years + proven track record of working with major IT vendors from a sourcing + vendor management perspective.
