Senior Material Planner with controlling experience
What You will do
In Europe &Central Asia Supply Chain Operations, our Planning organization is responsible for driving material replenishment, tactical planning of production and operational planning with factory daily management systems. In order to drive further operational effectiveness, we are transforming our way of working and we are now looking for Senior Material Planner with Controlling experience. You will deal with the replenishment of Base Material (paper, film, PE, foil) or Additional Materials categories and will belong to a virtual Planning Hub. You will be reporting to a Material Team Lead and work closely with other material planners, cluster capacity planners and suppliers. The goal is clear: get more control on inventories and drive better agenda with suppliers. The path toward it is to be defined. The Senior Material Planner with Controller role will have a unique contribution the Planning team and organization. He / she should be able to act as a Senior Material Planner and at least 50% of the time perform controlling activities such as: •Be owner of Material Master Data in the CFs and reporting accuracy •Prepare in-depth reports and analysis, collect, monitor and study business data to support cost control in the Cluster Material replenishment flow •Support meetings with suppliers by providing report, analysis and data •Identify improvement opportunities in the materials flow and make improvement recommendations •Drive Material Master Data optimization and alignment in the CFs to support accurate replenishment process through APO and optimal stock levels •Create data collection guidelines for internal use •Generate easy-to-use reports based on collected data and make suggestions to increase operational effectiveness •Work with the Planning Hub Manager to prioritize suggested changes and improvements •Prepare KPI deployments and loss analysis including presentations •Participate in improvement activities
Who You are
•Analytical work experience – ideally in Controlling or similar data driven role within supply chain •Global work exposure supporting multiple factories at the same time remotely •BA or MA degree in Supply Chain or similar or equivalent work experience •Confident knowledge in material planning process and tools, logistic flow •Fluent communication skills in English in a must •Confident user of various tools to support in depth analysis and reporting, confident to work virtually •Strong user of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), WebEx, Microsoft Teams to enable remote working •Ability to work autonomously, drive continuous improvement, challenge current practices and processes •Experience working with SAP APO and MRP (Material Requirement Planning) tool is a must Attributes •Strong Analytical mindset and a keen interest to business operations •Hands on data-mining knowledge •Ability to develop easy-to-use reports (PBI) •Pro-active approach, ability to challenge current processes, suggest new ideas •Strong communication skill with the ability to build strong relationships across all functions within all seniority levels •Strong problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude •Good understanding of WCM key principles
