Funciones

We are science people doing Technology and we are looking for a Senior R&D Engineer!

 * Write papers, URS, attending to conferences as speaker, lead R&D projects, execute projects
 * Produce and test prototype implementations of systems to help answer research questions
 * Transfer results of work to Product Management and eventually, to the rest of the involved teams and actors
 * Evaluate technology, support applications, innovative regulation proposals or new features
 * Document results primarily for an audience within the department or Product Management  (via SRS/URS)
 * Gain co-operation and collaborate with groups of outside R&D including external contacts on clearly-defined projects, to achieve results beyond what would be possible within R&D alone
 * Represent the department at events such as exhibitions and demonstrations to explain their work and help with recruitment
 * Some travels are expected for present or defend papers and research results

Requisitos

 * A degree in Computer Science, Life Science, Electronic Engineering, Chemistry, Maths, Physics, Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Data science or a similar
 * Relevant science, engineering or technical subject. The Ph.D. degree is an added value
 * Demonstrated scientific experience with a technological mindset and knowledge in Pharma industry
 * Experience in a role involving research, development and/or user testing of technology, including a track record of playing a key role in delivering a significant piece of R&D work in a field of relevance (pharma, regulation, chemistry, biotech, cloud computing, AI)
 * Comprehensive knowledge of current standards and practices in broadcast or software engineering, pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, biotech workflow and/or behavioral scientific research
