As a Social Media Strategist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing dynamic social media platforms to achieve the business goals by strengthening positive sentiment, brand affinity, engagement, interactions, traffic, conversion and reach along with organically growing the fan base. Maintaining an exceptional understanding of target audiences, of what motivates them and the products/services they require is key. A leading task will be to regularly compile program and campaign level data/results across several social media platforms. The Social Media Strategist will create weekly/monthly reports, including analysis for insights, optimizations and future strategy development as well as extracting insights from compiled data/results to adjust strategy and execution plans across multiple social media platforms based on these learnings. All efforts should support forecasting, budgeting and pacing information. Key Action Areas: • Develop, implement and manage social media strategy, as well as build and execute the social media marketing roadmap • Lead the social media team • Serve as a social media platform expert - bring industry trends, innovative ideas, and fresh ways to engage with our audience to the table on a regular basis • Work with our agencies and partners to achieve social media goals • Define the most important social media KPIs • Manage and oversee social media content • Measure the success of every social media campaign • Leverage social media marketing tools such as Brandwatch and HootSuite • Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing • Collaborate with Marketing, Communications and Academic teams • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network • Set up and optimize company pages within each social media platform • Execute competitive research, benchmarking and targeted audience classification
Requirements: • Bachelor Degree, preferably with a focus on Marketing, Audio-Visual Communications or related fields. Master´s Degree will be valued. • Fluent in English and Spanish • 3-5 years of social media work experience • Experience managing multiple social media channels simultaneously on a day to day basis for a brand or at an agency • Developed and managed a social media content calendar that includes both evergreen content and campaigns • Successfully created and implemented a cross-functional social media marketing strategy • Excellent collaboration skills; loves what happens when great minds come together to brainstorm and ideate • Ability to articulate their point of view while maintaining flexibility in their approach • Loves all social things - is the go-to for what’s trending, what’s not, and what innovative brands are doing on social media, globally • Demonstrable experience using a social media content management tool
