Funciones

As a Social Media Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing IE’s strategy on Social Media. This will include managing existing dynamic social media platforms and developing new ones to achieve the business goals by strengthening positive sentiments, brand affinity, engagement, interactions, traffic, conversion and organically growing the fan base. Maintaining an exceptional understanding of targeting audiences, what motivates them and the products/services they require is key.  We are looking for someone who lives social media, communications, and public relations, that can use their skills to monitor, enhance and direct the conversations people are having about our brands. The ideal candidate has successful experience using social media and communications to improve brand image, managing and creating original content for social and traditional media platforms, and developing relationships with publications, influencers or the public to increase brand visibility. The candidate is goal oriented, and while he/she cares deeply about the campaigns, he/she never loses track of the big picture: successful campaigns always need to get people to change their behaviors to serve specific business needs. This person will also be responsible for supporting individuals at IE on their use of social media, including education and relevant information for its use.  
 
•Manage the overall strategy and day-to-day execution of IE social media channels
 • Work alongside the content team to create and maintain an editorial calendar for all media properties 
• Serve as a social media platform expert – bring industry trends, innovative ideas and fresh ways to ensure the engagement with our audience on a regular basis 
• Actively monitor and ensure that a response is made to all questions that are posted on our paid social media advertisements
 • Create and execute a plan to build and protect our brands in their respective online or geographic communities 
• Collaborate with Marketing, Communications and Academic teams
 • Actively build and maintain relationships with new organizations, online publications, bloggers, social media influencers and community partners about the work of our brands to generate earned media and other opportunities to be positively viewed in the community 
• Execute competitive research, benchmarking and targeted audience classification

Requisitos

• Master´s Degree from a top University, with a focus on Marketing, Communications or related fields. 
 • English native and fluent in Spanish • Minimum of 4-5 years of high-level experience with social media marketing, corporate communications and public relations  
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills
 • Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone and voice of our business´ various types of content 
• An analytical mind and interest in using data to optimize and scale our marketing efforts 
• Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects  
• Excellent collaboration skills; loves what happens when great minds come together to brainstorm and ideate • Ability to articulate their point of view while maintaining flexibility in their approach
 • Loves all social things - is the go-to for what is trending, what is not, and what innovative global brands are doing on social media
 • Experience using social media content management tools
