The Role
We are looking for a teacher able to:
-Inspire learning in children and through creativity

Science & Arts is seeking for an innovative, dynamic and passionate Kindergarten/Arts teacher to join our team from November 2020. Candidates will preferably hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Newly Qualified Teachers (NGT) or Teaching English as a Foreign Language certificate (TEFL) with relevant experience would be considered. The successful candidate will have experience of teaching young learners and teens. The ideal candidate will have to be able to think outside of the box and adapt lessons to suit individual learners and be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. We are not just another language school as we are based on the Scandinavian teaching and also inspired by Waldorf and Reggio Emilia, which makes teaching way more stimulating for both teacher and students. 

The Role
We are looking for a teacher able to:
-Inspire learning in children and through creativity
-Encourage children to communicate, interact and present subject contents in English in a natural way
-Plan and prepare lessons in consultation with colleagues
-Provide a rich, welcoming and cheerful environment for children by displaying children’s work in a stimulation and interesting way in the classroom
-Differentiate work and activities according to the needs and age of the individual or group
-Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of children

Requisitos

Person specification
Native English speaker*
Good oral and written standards will be expected**
A sense of humour, arts enthusiastic, and team player are all essential*
It is essential for this role to have/be:
Degree in any Teaching/Arts subject*
Experience teaching young learners and teens **
Approachable, committed, calm, and well-organised **
Knowledge of a variety of effective teaching and learning techniques *
Be prepared to make science experiments with children
Willing to work as part of a team and be an active member in the center

We are offering a minimum of 20h/week contract, in which is included 3 hours weekly to prepare the lessons (which is not common in Spain). We offer a permanent position aiming to find a teacher for a long term contract, as bonus will be negotiated after the first year.
