We are currently recruiting for Audiologists that wish to live and develop their career in the United Kingdom. The Employer The employer is one of the largest private suppliers of digital hearing aids in the UK and and a leading company delivering Hearcare services to their rapidly growing number of AQP patients. They are accredited to provide NHS Adult Hearing Services as well as offering a private service to patients, for this position there will probably be a higher percentage of private work given the area you will be working in. We are currently looking to recruit Qualified Audiologists to work in several attractive cities such as London, Manchester, Liverpool, Cardiff, Wolverhampton, Southampton, Bristol, Newcastle. Main Duties: • You will be undertaking audiology procedures for patients efficiently and effectively; adhering to best practice audiology technique. • Fit a range of hearing aids and provide rehabilitation for patients. • Provide expertise to ensure the appropriate examination of patients. • Maintain a high level of professionalism and technical standard of work, complying with relevant Codes of Practice • Undertaking audiological procedures in line with existing clinical guidelines and protocols • Process patient referrals in line with modality guidelines • Run Quality Assurance checks on equipment, and action as appropriate • Review and Develop modality specific protocols, in line with requirements, to support the service
Main requirements: • EU Nationality • Masters or Bachelor's degree in Audiological Science or equivalent • Registered or in process of Registration in the HCPC • Demonstrable appreciation of patient care and confidentiality Proven knowledge of the requirements of a audiologists’ role in the care of patients, their visitors and carers, and to colleagues • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team • Implications of the Data Protection Act and Caldicott Principles • Infection Control training, Manual Handling and Patient Transfer training, Health and Safety Awareness training • Competent use of audiological equipment • Proven safety awareness skills • Professional and cooperative attitude towards patients, customers and colleagues • Proven competency in verbal and written communication • Working within a hospital or mobile environment • Professional and cooperative attitude towards patients, customers and colleagues • Proven competency in verbal and written communication • Working within a hospital or mobile environment
