We are seeking a F&A Manager for an interim project for a US Multinational company Description As F&A Manager, you will serve as a trusted Business Partner to our business management team to increase organisational efficiency and to inspire high performance culture. You will be responsible for providing accounting, distribution, information systems and customer order processing services to all business divisions in Spain and Portugal. Main duties * Being responsible for the financial accounting function, such as general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll, cash management and management reporting. Day to day activity is recorded in US GAAP and translated once a year into local GAAP. * Being responsible for the customer order processing and distribution function, providing professional and timely services to the company's customers. * Being responsible for all aspects of internal control. * Being responsible for the development, approval and execution of the Finance and Administration group's business plan, including expenditure management and cost control. * Being responsible for the co-ordination, analysis, implementation and control of the annual budget and periodic forecasts in accordance with Corporate guidelines and objectives. * Assisting in the development and execution of local policies and guidelines that serve the needs of the business and the objectives of the Corporation and ensure compliance with Corporate policies and procedures, local and international laws. * Being responsible for the preparation of statutory accounts, tax return and annual returns in accordance with local requirements. All the legal entity documentation is prepared in collaboration with the corporate Legal department. * Working with the local managers on the achievement of overall business objectives. * Acting as the company's main liaison with external auditors. * Maintaining the efficient running of the Quality Management system. * Planning, controlling and reviewing Internal Auditing procedures. * Acting as a true Business Partner involved in all aspects of the business, and specifically in those projects that motivate change or require professional Finance & Administration knowledge and skills. You will be the Technical Guide that the business relies on to make critical decisions that will have true impact both short and long terms; * Leading and developing the Finance & Administration 5-6person team * Working with the business management team to harmonize processes and elaborate resources * Being responsible for providing regular reporting to European & Corporate headquarters Profile * Degree in Economics or Finance subject or equivalent by experience * Solid experience in accounting and financial audit, in reconciliation of US GAAP and Local statutory books * Experience in successfully driving organisational change * Experience in developing credibility and trust at senior management levels applying specialised knowledge and giving sound advice * Spanish native language and proficient English * You will have ability to provide support to other functions of the organisation as a business partner * A valid passport will be required Job Offer The project duration is at least 6 months but it might end as a permanent position.
